This report presents and argues for a new type of service/application to be used by a wide spectrum of technologies from the smallest mobile phone to the most advanced server. This type of service opens up a whole new application arena. To some extent it represents a fully new architecture. The report “Bringing mobile phone applications to a new level – Usage examples” introduces some examples of possible applications using the architecture.
